District 6440 GSE Team to India Selected

On Saturday, October 6, the District 6440 Group Study Exchange (GSE) Committee selected team members for the upcoming 2013 GSE to Chennai, India.

Team members and their sponsoring clubs are:

Lucas Heinrich, Rotary Club of Wheaton. Lucas is a graphic designer with Boost Marketing in Wheaton.

Susan Khalifah, St. Charles Breakfast Rotary Club. Susan is a structural engineer with AP Engineering in Evanston.

Lisa Mengarelli, Rotary Club of Northbrook. Lisa is a marketing associate with Beacon Funding Corp. of Northbrook.

Adam Veness, Rotary Club of Evanston. Adam is a scenic designer & technical director with Light Opera Works of Evanston.

Michael Carlino of the Rotary Club of Lake Zurich was selected on Sept. 22 to serve as the Team Leader. The team will travel in India January 19 to February 19, 2013.

The District’s GSE Committee is chaired by Jim Runnfeldt (Long Grove). Outbound Team Co-chairs are Terry Desmond (Lake Forest-Lake Bluff) and Paul Larson (Evanston Noon).

Members of the Team Member Selection Committee included District Governor Mike Yesner (Skokie Valley), Ellen Young (Lincolnshire Morning Star), Mike Ericksen (Schaumburg), David Waring (Barrington Breakfast), Paul Larson and Team Leader Michael Carlino.
