The D6440 Nominating Committee has selected Rotarian Lyle Staab to be District Governor Nominee Designate for Rotary Year 2020-2021.  Lyle is a member of the Rotary Club of Long Grove, Kildeer and Hawthorn Woods and currently serves the District as Youth Service Advisor. Lyle is a past Club President and Assistant Governor.
 
The Nominating Committee also selected PDG Carlos Früm to be Vice-Governor for Rotary Year 2018-2019.

Lyle Staab is a member of the Rotary Club of Long Grove, Kildeer, and Hawthorn Woods.  He has served his club as President, Chair of its Charitable Fund, Membership Chair, and, for the last three years, Director of the Rotary Race for Charity, its major fundraiser and service project.  At the District level, Lyle has been an Assistant Governor, serves on the Visioning team, and was a member of the committee that organized the Foundation Centennial Dinner.  He is currently the District’s Youth Service Advisor, working with Interact, Rotaract, Rotary Youth Exchange, and RYLA leaders.
 
Lyle retired in late 2012 from Siemens Healthcare.   Over his career in the medical diagnostics and consumer products industries, he led manufacturing, integration, restructuring, commercial, and accounting organizations, oversaw operations in the US and Europe, and lived in Canada and Ireland.  (His first Rotary Club was Dublin Fingal.)
 
Lyle earned an MBA from the University of Notre Dame.  His undergraduate degree is from Fort Hays State University, where he is a Trustee of the FHSU Foundation and a member of the Dean’s Advisory Council for its Robbins School of Business and Entrepreneurship.  He was also a Director of the Alpha Kappa Psi Foundation, and a frequent speaker and competition judge at its Principled Business Leadership Institute.
 
Lyle and Ann Marie moved to the Chicago area in 2008 and live in Hawthorn Woods.  They adore their granddaughter and enjoy the time they spend with their three adult children.  Ann Marie gardens while Lyle plays golf, which makes both happy.  They also love to travel. 
 
Carlos Früm chartered the Northbrook Early Risers Rotary Club in 1993 and joined the Rotary Club of Northbrook in 1999.  He served as District 6440 Governor in 2011-12.
 
In Zone 28 he served as Assistant Rotary Coordinator and Trainer.  He is currently Co-chair of our district HealthRays Project to install 29 digital x-ray systems in Guatemala.
 
He is an elected trustee since 1999 of the Northbrook Public Library and its current Board President.
 
Carlos is retired from the computer industry and is a recipient of the Entrepreneur of the Year Award.
 
Carlos and his wife, Sandy, also a member of the Rotary Club of Northbrook are Major Donors and Benefactors of the Rotary Foundation, and Charter Members of District 6440 Paul Harris Society.  They have three children and seven grandchildren.
