Kevin Stevens is a member of the Rotary Club of North Chicago where he has served as President, Treasurer and Foundation Chair. He is currently the club’s Charter Organization Representative for Cub Scout Pack 621 in North Chicago. Beyond his club engagement Kevin serves as Assistant Governor Coordinator, Assistant Governor and Veteran Affairs Liaison for District 6440. He is a member of Midwest PETS council and on the District 6440 Club Visioning team. Kevin is a Paul Harris Fellow and member of the Paul Harris Society.
 
Kevin served for ten years with the US Navy Seabees, deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom in 2006. For the past two years he has served on the steering committee and strategic planning committee for Roll Call Chicagoland, an emerging regional career networking consortium for military veterans, and is a member of the Museum Advisory Council for the National Museum of the American Sailor.
 
Kevin is an advocate for childhood literacy and education, and serves on the steering committee for CONNECT - the North Chicago “My Brother’s Keeper” initiative.
 
Kevin is President of Real Capital Partners and earned his BA in Economics from Beloit College. For the past decade he has served as a judge for the Wisconsin DECA State Career Development Conference, and on the Boards for the Lake County Chamber of Commerce, Exchange Club of North Chicago and currently as President of the Navy League of the United States Lake County Council. He also serves on the Board of Directors for A Safe Place, the sole full service provider of services addressing domestic violence in Lake County and Furthering the Lives of Youth, an advocacy organization providing targeted opportunities for promising youth. Kevin is chair of the North Star District Outreach Committee for NEIC Boy Scouts of America, Assistant Scout Master for Boy Scout Troop 675 in Wadsworth, and is a life member of Veterans of Foreign War Post 4551 in Antioch, Illinois.
 
Kevin and Alisa reside in Antioch with their children Christian and Victoria, and their German Shepherd Maximus.
Bill has served the Rotary Club of Arlington Heights as president, vice president, treasurer and community service chair.  He currently serves on the club’s Foundation and Membership Committees as well as being on the Fun and Frolic Team.  In addition to his club activities, Bill has been an Assistant Governor and the District Annual Fund Chair for the past three years, a member of the District Visioning Team and he recently joined the District Finance and Foundation Committees. 
 
Bill is a CPA and holds a Master’s degree in Taxation.  He is the President and Owner of Wisdom Investments, a boutique, fee only, financial planning, investment management and tax firm.    Bill has also worked in Corporate America as a Tax and Finance professional and began his career as an Internal Revenue Agent.  Bill taught accounting and finance classes at Harper College and in the MBA program at Northern Illinois University for over 10 years.    He subsequently worked as a consultant for Harper College and the College of Lake County teaching insurance and finance classes at local companies. 
 
Bill is an active member of his church and leads two men’s groups, one which meets on Wednesday mornings and one which meets once per month on Saturday morning.  He has also served as a budget counselor at church as well as being a member of the Stewardship leadership team where his role was developing and leading classes for the constituents.  In the past he has served on other community boards however devotes all his current time to Church, Family and Rotary.
 
Bill will have been married to Betsy, who is also a Rotarian, for 40 years in 2020.  Betsy is a retired Human Resources executive, most recently with Paddock Publications.  Bill and Betsy met while working as auditors for the Internal Revenue Service, where they frequently smiled at one another, but not in front of taxpayers so as not to jeopardize their G-Man and G-Lady scowl (just kidding, most if not all IRS personnel are really nice people).   They have 2 children, Brian who is married to Stephanie and Emily, the prettiest single girl in the world and also a nursing student.   Both children live in the Chicago area.
 
Bill and Betsy are passionate about Rotary, the projects, the causes and the enthusiasm of the members.  They have been to Guatemala, Peru and Uganda on Rotary Service trips and those trips as well as the people they have traveled with and the natives they have met fires their enthusiasm for the needs around the world and the ways in which we as Rotarians can help meet those needs.
