Club Presidents signing partnership agreementThe Barrington Breakfast Rotary Club, District 6440 entered into a sister club relationship with the Club Rotario Guatemala Sur, District 4250 on March 12, 2013 in Guatemala City.  President Suzanne Gibson and President Luis Pedro Fuxet Ciani signed the agreement on behalf of their respective clubs.  This formally recognizes long standing fellowship and friendship between members of the two clubs and also successful implementation of major service projects through Rotary Foundation supported Global Grants.

According to the agreement, the clubs shall:

  • Share successful project ideas or club programs
  • Encourage in-person visits by the other club's members
  • Plan a Rotary Friendship Exchange
  • Develop joint service projects
  • Consult with district leaders on other partnership possibilities

These activities are aimed at the promotion of International Friendship, World Understanding, Peace and Goodwill through Rotary.  Should your club consider creating a "sister club" partnership?
