District 6440 Leadership Academy

Our Mission

The Leadership Academy's mission is to educate future Rotary leaders to drive success of our Clubs, the District, and Rotary International.  

The Academy program provides participants with the tools necessary to lead by familiarizing them with Rotary's resources, by assessing the current status of their clubs and developing action plans to strengthen them, and by forming lasting relationships with faculty and classmates with different experiences.  Rotary International changes constantly, which requires annual updating of the Academy's curriculum to ensure students have the most current information.

The result is a Rotary leadership training program that provides the broadest and strongest foundation possible to any District 6440 Rotarian who wishes to hone their leadership skills and better Make A Difference in the world.
