Application materials now are available for the District Leadership Academy Class of 2022.

Club board members or committee chairs, Presidents Nominee, Presidents-Elect, District Assistant Governors and committee chairs, members of District committees - anyone who aspires to serve as a club or district leader - are encouraged to enroll in this outstanding educational program. The DLA is a six-and-a-half-month series of courses (excluding December) that covers RI Communications, Membership, Public Image, Youth Service, RI Organization, and The Rotary Foundation.

Each course is a month long, and includes reviewing resources, discussions, written assignments, and a final exam, all done online with the Canvas Learning Management System used by many colleges and universities.

With very limited exceptions, each topic must be completed during the month in which that particular course is “live”, but the student fits the coursework into their schedule.

All documents required to be completed for Academy admission can be downloaded from this webpage. The deadline for submitting all completed documents and the enrollment fee is August 15, 2021. The “academic year” officially begins on September 1, with completion of a very short Pre-course to prepare students to work through Canvas required by late August.
